THE DBS DOUBLE TROUBLE FORMAT!

DECK CONSTRUCTION:

-Each participant selects any TWO leaders that DO NOT share any core character name on any side. (This means Son Goku cant pair up with Son Goku:GT even if that Son Goku: GT only appears on an awakened side along with Trunks and Pan.) IF a player selects a Multicolor Leader, the partner leader MUST cover one of those 2 colors as the multicolor will represent the other color for deckbuilding.

-Minimum Deck size is 60. Maximum deck size is 70.

-For each leader, your deck MUST contain at least 30 cards specified to that leader's color. This means if you select Pilaf and Raditz, you will need 30 red cards and 30 green cards. If you elect to go beyond 60 cards, the excess cards must still match one of your leaders.

-Any multicolor cards must match both printed leader colors. *Ex: if you have Pilaf (Red) and Raditz (Green) the only multicolor cards allowed to you are red/green.

-Multicolor cards may be counted towards one leader, but not both.

-No cards with a color not matching a leader are permitted. No black overrealms without a black leader, sorry! No off-color Z-Deck cards either!

-For this format, Decking out is NOT a win condition since, double the leaders, double the draw. Additionally, alternate win conditions such as Victory Strike or Beerus Reboot's pay 16, while legal for play, simply, will not resolve.

-All leader restrictions must be followed for your deck. for example: If you elect to use Prison Frieza, and King Vegeta starter, your deck may only include saiyans and cannot include battle cards with a cost less than 4. So choose Wisely!

    *LEGAL CARDPOOL*
-For the moment, we will honor the current banlist and erratas.

-ALL Limited cards are banned. (Including cards with the "Ultimate" Keyword) Only cards you may play a COMPLETE set of 4 are legal.
In addition to this the following cards are banned:

-Yellow U7 Goku is banned
-Yellow Life Frieza is banned
-Blue Absolute God Zamasu is banned
-Yellow Counter Counter cooler is banned

GAME SET-UP
    ZONES
-While there are TWO leader zones, there will NOT be a duplicate of any other zone. This means if you select two leaders that would normally instruct you to start with a field card in play, you may only select one. So plan accordingly. Additionaly there is only one Unison zone, and only one z-deck (although you may gear it to benefit from both leaders)

    LIFE
-Players will begin with 12 life, sorted into two piles of 6. Each Pile represents a leader. This is to accommodate traditional awakenings. When a life pile is reduced to its awakening prerequisite, the relevant leader for that pile may awaken. (This means leaders such as Chilled and Babidi will be able to awaken without taking any damage at all! while leaders such as Starter Baby will still need to get its specific life pile to 2 before awakening!)

-If any effect instructs a leader to begin the game with a diminished life total leader would start with a lower life total below 6, adjust your starting life for that leader.

GAMEPLAY

   DRAWING CARDS
-At the start of each turn players may elect to either draw until they have three cards in their hand, OR they may draw 1 card normally.

    TAKING DAMAGE
-Regardless of circumstance, a player may remove life from any life column they wish while resolving damage or effects.

-If any leaders life pile is ever completely expended, that leader is removed from the game. (This makes all players final 2 life the most important to protect!)

    MILLING OUT
-While you no longer lose from deck-out, if an effect would instruct you to draw or send card(s) from your deck to another zone, shuffle your Discard pile into your deck and continue. If you have no cards in your discard pile, carry on play until a winner is determined.
