Pulling back the Veil - Remix Project: Z

Last year we managed some pretty great landmarks for Remix and 2024 has shown to be no different.
While we can expect to see the vaunted JSA and the Villains United factions hit the mainstream of play potential in the next month, we as usual like to push the envelope both with IP content, and card effects.

We here at the Remix Project proudly present:

PROJECT Z

With the recent passing of Akira Toriyama, we felt it was a time for reflection, a time for nostalgia, and possibly a time for leaving our firstborn child alone in the wilderness with an asexual space alien.

First up Master Roshi demonstrates our new interactive approach to gameplay mechanics. We love our law enforcement officers and this allows us to see much more of them!

Goku explores some interactions unseen in VS System! Aiding opponents for no reason whatsoever is a long standing theme in the series, and we feel it is finally properly represented in card form.

Dad of the year.

Once an Antagonist but now a staple member of team good guys, is Vegeta, If he had a theme song, it would be "I did it my way" He is most typically noted for perpetually failing thanks to some deus-ex-machinations since only Goku can win, but he does have his moments!

I'm still annoyed he didn't do an armed robbery joke with 19.

We even took the effort to capture entertaining tropes hidden in powerful effects! Ever wonder why anyone, ever does that rapid fire of weak blasts thing? the one that never works? ever?

Ever wonder how that would feel in card form? How about a card that's perpetually ALMOST good enough?

And of course, we can't overlook one of the most iconic moves to exist without some sort of representation! It needs no introduction, it is the Spirit Bomb! Let's hope that stand-in player is up to the task! Or even, if they know the game at all!

60% of the time, it works EVERY time.

Yes, from sex offenders to 20 minute long epic power-ups DBZ certainly had it all. And while we mourn the loss of Toriyama Sempai, it is nice to reflect on our youthful vices and indulge ourselves a bit. Unless those vices involve an old priest a young priest and a marmoset. In that case, return my goddam call. You know who you are.

The Remix design team aims to deliver nothing but the best content possible for the players.
