2x Blue Devil, Big Blue

1x June Moon - Enchantress, Bad Witch
1x Zatanna, Showstopper

2x Shazam, The Sorcerer

Plot Twists
4x Total Anarchy
2x Abjuration, Magic
3x New and Improved
4x Mobilize
4x Savage Beatdown
4x Wake the Devil
4x Accept Your Destiny
2x The Conclave, Magic

This deck does a bit of everything, solid sift to dig for cards you are chasing, good control and board presence with some pretty intuitive KO options, An alt win condition that is actually viable thanks to Accept your destiny, and a really, really beefy curve thanks to Ilsa. By turn 3 if we haven't seen our new and improved, Ilsa's going to get it for us. otherwise, nothing wrong with either Abjuration for a clutch brick, or a total anarchy to keep their curve honest.

Why New and Improved?

Because on turn 5, you can free play night master, KO it and drop an 11/11 5 drop Nightmaster with a lifegain engine in it.
OR
KO that blue devil you had on 2, gain some decent endurance, then drop a 12/12 big blue, that will promise 8 more endurance on his KO. Along this train of thought, we have zatanna at 3 and 6 as well!

The staple Shadowpact support shines here, with double conclaves, but the power of grigori and the Thule support really shows that Shadowpact has been paying endurance for nothing. I mean why run divination and pay 3 endurance when you can just do the exact same thing for free with Wake the Devil? Sometimes, it pays to be evil.

-22- BroStat-X (Brotherhood + X-Statix)

By: Jonathan Brami

Plot Twists

4 The next brotherhood
4 Planet X
4 Glory Hound
3 Mind Over Matter
4 Air Strike

Call a spade a spade, this is TNNX-Statix, I don't care what Jonathan named it. It takes a list that really doesn't need much help and gets out of the way as efficiently as possible. There are a few cool interactions however, Gin Genie, for example, will be a super effective method to keep rotating your resource row, Doop is free bonus damage just for existing, Glory hound is a free resource replace, or fodder for a timely air-strike, And Mind over Matter will enable you to recur Amelia for repeated swarm turns! Not too shabby for getting out of the way of what TNNB wants to do anyway.

I anticipate this one won't go down easy.

1x War Machine Armor, Unique

This was ALWAYS going to happen.

So needless to say, if any of my options, were SHIELD and ANY OTHER TEAM IN EXISTENCE...
It was going to be an Ultimates build.
Ultimates is my baby, my jam, my happy place, even.
So even though SHIELD was paired with the thinnest, least capable team that could TECHNICALLY hit 15 cards, in the words of the immortal Dr. Ian Malcolm: Life, uh, finds a way."

The standard shield list heavily taps into MUN and rides Rad man and Iron man into the sunset.

So yeah... This doesn't do that.

Step1 - Set the table.
Wasp and any other hidden character will do. Mostly we want wasp to activate at least twice by turn 4, this can be risky though, if we haven't locked in to either a Liberation day or a Triskelion , so it's fine to wait on her active until we do. If we are lucky and pull off a perfect curve into 3, we want to see Nick Fury. But we needed god damned atlanteans so he's going to cost us a search. Sub-mariner beats nothing though.

Step 2 - Abuse the living hell out of Triskelion.
Triskelion is amazing. the deeper you dig warping cards from your deck, the better search it enables. Lots of players miss things like chaining to the draw at the start of the draw phase, you empty your hand, grab a card you definately want, and then land 2 more cards. making your turn, thin, but almost always IDEAL. If your hand already feels solid, save trisk for that clutch defensive brick you need. one of my faves is a boosted "now I'm fighting dirty", then discard 0 for your re-fetched "now I'm fighting dirty" again for a clutch +6/+6 on offense or defense.

Step 3 - Drop the WOMBO
Same as the original, get to 7, play Thor, ideally you still want to have your 4,5,6 in play, but no sweat if not, Thanks to Nick Fury and wasp you should have been able to toe the line with 23-25 cards in your rfp. by that time you'll also make note that your deck has around the same amount of cards. Activate thor for whatever number is LESS in raw endurance loss for your opponent.
Then substitute lady deathstrike on your 4, activate her, untap Thor, burn again, sub your 5, then 6, for the better part of 100 dmg outside of combat on turn 7. Most decks wont come back from that, but for a good laugh, if it is your init on 7, you can always opt to save the last Deathstrike, and thor activated abilities, equip a war-machine armor on thor and, get 2 free stuns while obliterating their row, (TWICE!) and dealing 14 damage to your poor unhappy opponent.

Needless to say, this list can get work done.

-25- Skrullf*cked (Skrull + JLA)

4x Mutopia, Team-Up
4x Adamantium Claws
4x Berserker Rage
4x Healing Factor

Locations
2x The Watchtower
2x Satellite HQ
3x Muramasa Blade

When I saw the assigned teams included the JLA I didnt even hesitate to select them.
But as I unpacked my options I stumbled across some interesting interactions I'd never considered before. Namely, Skrull ...control?

At its heart the core interaction is simple.

Get Wolverine into play.
Flip Mutopia.

Mutopia is an outlier in team-ups, in the sense that it only cares about the affiliations of one specific mutant traited character. Wolverine, however is an outlier in the sense that he gains affiliations of all characters in play. Not YOUR characters. ALL characters.

So since we already have 2 teams going in (Skrull/JLA), a Mutopia will GUARANTEE 5 affiliations on Wolvie in this event as a bare MINIMUM (Since every opponent will also have 2 affiliations, and he comes slotted as an X-men as well!)
Oh. and we draw a card.
Once teamed up with literally EVERYTHING, Black Bolt will surge to impractical levels of dumb, Captain America will protect from stunbacks, Elektra will KO most anything she stuns, Super Skrull will be a 14/14 and Titannus will make team attackers cry like a baby as a 19/19. (you defend for each attacker so he could become Galactus-level stats on defense)
All as a starting Minimum.
Not bad at all...

But I wanted MORE.

So I opted into the complete do-it-yourself Wolverine fanboy kit.
With Healing factor, I can guarantee he'll become a 10ATK.
With Cap, I can make sure his swings wont stunback.
Toss in Muramase Blade, Berserker Rage and Adamantium Claws and this dude can Straight-up DELETE a board on turn 4 or later as an underdrop.

And that just tickles me juuuust right.

Enjoy everyone!

-26- Crapple Jacks (Sinister Syndicate + negative Zone)

By: Scott Hamilton

Characters
6x Alpha Primates - Army (1)
1x Green Goblin - Insanity Unleashed (1)
1x Mendel Stromm - Robot Master (1)
1x Basilisk - Basil Elks (1)
1x Speed Demon James Sanders (1)
1x Vulture - Arial Stalker (1)
2x Vermin - Sewer Rat (2)
9x Seekers - Army (3)
4x Jackal - Dr. Miles Warren (4)
3x Centurians - Army (4)
1x Aloyosha Kravinoff - Son of Kraven (5)
1x DeadPool -mMerc with a Mouth (5)
1x Blastaar - King of Baluur (6)
1x Annihilus - Destroyer of Life (7)

Plot Twists
4x Savage Beatdown
4x Mobilize
2x Mega Blast
3x Legacy of Evil
2x Get Him My Petsss

Locations
4x Negative Zone - Shadow Dimension
2x Negative Zone - Gateway
2x Negative Zone - Prison Alpha
2x Birthing Chambers
2x Fisk Towers

Main Idea of the Deck is to Move Jackal to the hidden zone and have him bang out a Seeker every turn from 4 and create board advantage. Add in NZ-Gateway and Fisk Towers if needed. Legacy of Evil, Birthing Chambers and The Seekers Rally should be able to keep your hand pretty full of options. Alpha Primates can also set up your resource row to get the best negative zone locations in Row mid to late game (Shadow Dimension is your first choice as it is re-usable to keep moving your 1 drops to hidden zone and keep that board advantage up but Prison Alpha will do in a pinch)

Mull Condition is Jackal or a Mobilize to get him. You will almost always have a seekers on 3 with 9 of them and Almost anything is a positive hit for Seekers with their rally. 5 cards can move Jackal to the Hidden zone on 4 and that is the lynchpin of this - If you cant make it happen, you’re kind of hosed...

Turns 5 thru end are really loose depending on the situation. Kraven gives your whole board +2 so he is useful as a kill condition - Deadpool is great for Defense on 5 - target their 5 with his backaup ability and when they swing with their 4 - Get him My Petssss.  Kraven can then also be played on 6 for a kill turn as you can potentially fisk in another 1 drop - and play one too. Blastar and Annihilus get free stuns on your attack too...Nothing wrong with that. Lots of flight and range with your Seekers also so Formations are easier and you can pick theirs apart.

2x Deadly Game

Locations
3x The Hellfire Club

Plays like Injustice Gang Concealed but with some movement tricks.
Aunt May can be dropped for free on Turn 1 with Zabu for a strong open.
The Savage Land-based characters can be played as under-drops if you need to swarm and Firestar on 5 can swing then be moved into the visible to be stunned and then KO’d for some final burn to put you over the top. There is a Spider-Man at 3-4-5 as emergency drops if you miss Join The Club or Mobilize, Spidey FNSM can be used as a team attacker if you need to go rush.
