Round 2 Report!

Round 2 featured some near-misses some dominating blowouts, and of course, an upset or two!

Match 2Q

  With a surprising finish in round 1, many were hopeful Hodge Podge could keep the magic alive, but it was not meant to be. In what proved tobe a surprisingly close game, the Admiral closed the doors early ending the game on turn 4.

  Master Man of Steel, the super-bricking, ever-growing man mountain. Vs a motley crew of s a recent pump combo (Chemo and Path of Destruction), and not a single piece of removal. I don't think a single person in our playgroup expected this upset victory, as The Burial Grounds took down Master Man the hard way.

Match 2S

  No round is complete without its token "Bad matchup" Justice Supreme could never get online with all its characters being flung back into the hand. Mr. Foley's League of Doom wins this one handily on turn 6.

  Ultimate Fear manages to survive The Source, winning even bigger this week with a final score toting a 53 point disparity!

  Our Juvenile delinquents did an amazing job bricking Prey on the Weak's attempts but ultimately they went down to a shocking amount of Savage Land activations on turn 6.

  Doom riders seemed like a strong opponent in this one, but then the game started. Thunderworld runs away with it in a demonstrative victory.

  Talia and her squad of evil minions just couldn't deal with two timely Conclaves in the early to mid game as they fell to the infamous multi-swinging Hulk.
