    BUILD PHASE

Mark sets a resource and recruits Talisman failing to rally a plot twist.

Josh sets a resource and recruits Chen in the hidden area.

    COMBAT PHASE

Mark swings direct.
Josh passes

    RECOVERY PHASE

        TURN 3 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Josh sets a resource, recruits Shiloh Norman in the visible area and flips up stealthcraft to team up New Gods and Wild Pack.

Mark sets and flips Servants of Darkness, recruits Dark Firestorm to draw a card and flips up Truth, Justice and Peace teaming up Alpha Flight and Darkseid's Elite.

    COMBAT PHASE

Josh attacks Shiloh into Talisman, stunning her. Chen attacks direct for 3.

Mark has to re-read Shiloh before passing.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Mark recovers Talisman

        TURN 4 (Mark Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Mark sets a resource, flips up Ancient Throne and recruits Darkseid. Josh plays a mobilize while the recruit is on the chain paying 2 endurance and discarding Lightray to fetch a Silver Sable and also flips up Bounty Hunt, paying another 2 endurance.
Mark then substitutes Dark Lantern, removing Talisman from play, giving unstunnability to Dark Firestorm while attacking this turn.

Josh Sets a resource and recruits Silver Sable protected by Shiloh.

    COMBAT PHASE

Mark sends dark firestorm into Shiloh. Shiloh evades removing the attacker from combat from his effect. Darkseid and Dark Lantern then declare a team attack into Silver Sable. Sable goes down and dark firestorm is returned to mark's hand netting a bounty counter.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Josh recovers silver Sable and Shiloh recovers due to evasion.

        TURN 5 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Josh sets a resource and recruits Sandman protecting Silver Sable, forming Shiloh in the support row.

Mark sets a resource and plays Created from hate. Josh opts to not turn his rowed Mobilize face down. Mark gets Darkseid, 8th century, activates throne and recruits it protecting the darkseid 4.

    COMBAT PHASE

Josh thinks for a while before laughing when he remembers stealthcraft grants flight and declares Sandman into the protected Darkseid 4 drop. Mark retalliates with a discarded Truth and Justice power up. Josh reacts by playing a forbidden Loyalties from the hand, discarding a Shiloh for a +1/+1 counter on Sandman.
Mark checks his hand and row, flipping up Anti-Life and conceding the stun.
Hoping for no surprises Josh then sends Silver Sable and Chen in a team attack into the Darkseid 5. Flipping up a second Bounty Hunt.

*******RULES BREAK!*******
Mark inquires about what happens to bounty counters if bounty hunt is flipped face down by ancient throne before deciding if it is worth his time to flip it down. The relevant rule here is:
    215.2     Counters on a card remain on that card until that card changes zones or is moved to or from a resource row, or a rule or modifier removes the counters. Stunning or turning an object face down does not remove any counters already on that object.

Armed with this knowlege Mark decides to flip down Josh's Team-up instead, discarding a dark lantern. Josh immediately flips it face-up again paying the 2 endurance. The team attack resolves with sable and darksied mutually stunning. Sable's effect triggers returning darkseid to Mark's hand netting a bounty counter on each Bounty Hunt. Josh removes two counters from bounty hunt #1 to draw 2 cards. and attacks with Shiloh direct before flipping up a mobilize (paying 2 again) discarding man-eater to put Big Barda, Barda free into his hand.
Josh's resource row is now completely face up.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Josh opts to take the 3 endurance loss from anti-life.

mark passes and recovers his darkseid 4.
Josh recovers Silver Sable.

        TURN 6 (Mark Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Mark Sets and flips a second Anti-Life and activates Ancient throne before recruiting Darkseid, evil reborn.

Josh sets a resource and recruits Big barda behind Shiloh. He opts to keep Sandman protecting Sable.

    COMBAT PHASE

Mark plays Hordes of Apokolips giving both darkseid and firestorm +2ATK while attacking this turn, and sends Firestorm into Shiloh, who decides NOT to evade or reinforce, ending in a mutual stun.
Mark then swings Darkseid 4 into Sandman and once legal, plays a savage beatdown from his row.
Josh opts to reinforce with Sable. Josh then swings his 6 into sable, who is then reinforced by big barda

    RECOVERY PHASE

Josh KO's Shiloh and Sable to the two anti-lifes.

Josh recovers Sandman.
Mark recovers Darkseid, KOing dark firestorm triggering a counter on each bounty hunt.

        TURN 7 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Josh removes 2 bounty counters from Bounty hunt #2 to draw 2 cards, setting a resource and recruiting Lightray behind Sandman.

Mark, not so lucky recruits Talisman in the support row successfully rallying an alpha flight reborn and recruiting Sasquatch protecting her.

    COMBAT PHASE

Josh has Chen atack Talisman discarding another Chen to power up for the stun.
Then Lightray swings on the support row Darkseid 4 for an easy stun and plays a forbidden Loyalties from the hand,(Discarding stelthcraft) giving Big barda a +1/+1 counter.
he then sends Sandman into the darkseid 6, paying all 10 of its defense to become a 15/0. Mark powers it up discarding a darkseid 5 to shunt some of the damage as they both stun.
Then josh has Big Barda swing over sasquatch, once legal, paying half his Endurance rounded up to leave him at 4, and ties on a beatdown and Chen's effect to power-up, discarding Orion.
Josh then flips up the prophecy fulfilled as a sort-of win-more play. losing 2 endurance. mark spitefully discards Julia carpenter for Ancient throne to flip it face down.
Josh flips it up again and loses 2 more endurance.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Josh KO's two face-up mobilizes to each anti-life, Prophecy Fulfilled triggers, ending the game.

        POSTGAME THOUGHTS:

Mark Thoughts:
"NOT A SINGLE DARKSEID DRAW! I felt like an engine missing a few cylinders because of it. His Silver Sable was hands down MVP. Those bounty hunts forced me to second-guess late-game substituting as well. Missing my 7 didn't feel like enough for me to blame the loss on that one thing where his 6 attacked at over 20 on the kill turn. Very well played!"

Josh Thoughts:
"Silver Sable wasn't MVP. it was flight from the team-up. Everything I did was favorable because i could ignore his formations completely. I'm really liking this build. Who made it again?"

"My deck made it! Yay! Sorry Scott!"
