Match 1E - Assassin's Creed VS Justice Supreme

Steph wins the flip and opts to take Odds

Both players keep.

        TURN 1 (Steph Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Steph sets a resource and recruits Archangel, new defender in the front row.

Josh sets and recruits Ape X in the front row. fetching a Power Armor, equipping it on APe X.

    COMBAT PHASE

Steph swings archangel into Ape X for a mutual stun.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Steph recovers Archangel. Josh recovers Ape X.

        TURN 2 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Josh seta a resource and recruits Tom Thumb in the visible front row, equipping him with a power armor.

Steph sets a resource, recruiting Talia in the front row, activating her effect, revealing sam parington and 31st century metropolis. Landing the location ito her hand and discarding an archangel.

    COMBAT PHASE

Josh sends Ape X into Talia at 4/2 stunning her before swinging tom into archangel stunning archangel as well.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Steph recovers Talia.

        TURN 3 (Steph Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Steph sets a resource and recruits Harkeye behind Talia. She flips up 31st century metropolis to team up League of Assassins and Marvel Defenders before passing.

Josh sets a resource and recruits ted Kord <> Blue Beetle, flipping up Justice League taskforce to team up JLI and Squadron Supreme. forming up behind tom thumb.

At the end of the build, Steph activates hawkeye to stun Tom.

    COMBAT PHASE

Steph swings Talia into Ape X for a mutual stun.

Josh retalliates with Ted Kord into Hawkeye hoping for a mutual stun. Steph responds flipping up Pit of madness activating it for +2DEF on hawkeye stunning Ted Kord.
Steph then flips up Seiobo's Garden, activating it to place a +1/+1 counter on Talia.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Steph recovers Talia
Josh recovers tom thumb

    Assassins Creed -> 39  Justice Supreme -> 44



        TURN 4 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Josh sets a resource and recruits Golden Archer behind Tom Thumb.

Steph sets a resource and activates Hawkeye to stun Tom. She forms talia behind Hawkeye, and passes. Missing her 4 completely.

    COMBAT PHASE

Josh swings Golden Archer into Hawkeye stunning him. Talia reinforces.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Steph activates the garden for a +1/+1 counter on Hawkeye and recovers him.
Josh recovers Tom.

        TURN 5 (Steph Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Steph Sets a resource and recruits Ra's al Ghul protecting Hawkeye, and forms Talia in the front row.

Josh sets a resource and recruits dinah from the row, opting not to replace. Then recruiting haywire from the hand protecting Golden Archer. He plays a team up from his hand just to help empty it and passes, two cards in hand.

    COMBAT PHASE

Steph attacks haywire with Talia stunning him.then sending hawkeye into golden archer who activates to burn chaining a crackshot on Dinah before a mutual stun.
Ra's then attacks tom thumb. Josh opts to not reinforce and tom stuns.

Dinah swings on Talia for the stun and Josh plays answer the call to search for Albert Gaines.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Steph activates the garden and recovers Hawkeye and KO's Talia
Josh recovers Golden Archer, KOing haywire and Tom.

    Assassins Creed -> 23  Justice Supreme -> 30



        TURN 6 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Josh sets a resource and recruits Albert Gaines.

Steph sets a resource and recruits Sub-mariner protecting Hawkeye.

    COMBAT PHASE

Josh Flips and Activates Kooey Kooey Kooey, fetching a Flying Kick, playing it on Dinah, attacking Hawkeye with her and stunning him.
Then albert swings into Ra's. Once legal Josh plays Answer the call fetching an albert gaines to power up the attack. Also leaving josh with no cards in hand. and a 14/12 albert on the attack. He then flips up a second Kooey Kooey Kooey, activatingit to fetch and play a flying kick before activating golden archer for 6 burn. passing.

Steph shrugs. She activates Pit of Madness for the stunback. Then sends her Silver Surfer into Golden archer for the stun, but it isn't enough.

    Assassins Creed -> -10  Justice Supreme -> 12

        Justice Supreme Advances!


        POSTGAME THOUGHTS:

Steph Thoughts:
"Hawkeye really helped secure the early game, but missing any playable drop for turn 4 just buried this game."

Josh Thoughts:
"Kooey Kooey Kooey is ridiculous in this build."
