Josh sets a resource and recruits Uatu the watcher in his hidden support row. Revealing Aaron's hand (hank pym, moonstarx2 tania belinskya and megblast) He passes.

Aaron sets Megablast and recruits Moonstar and passes.

    COMBAT PHASE

Josh passes.

Aaron activates Moonstar to rally for a plot twist three times. (revealing Speedball, the B team and megablast) placing the failed speedball rally on the bottom of his deck before passing.

    RECOVERY PHASE

        TURN 2 (Aaron Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)

Aaron draws Pathetic Attempt and Wolverine, agent of shield.

    BUILD PHASE

Aaron sets Megablast, and recruits Hank Pym (choosing the version, Agent of SHIELD and Moonstar.

Mark sets a resource, and recruits Mr Fantastic in his visible support row and passes.

    COMBAT PHASE

Aaron passes combat.

Mark activates Mr Fantastic, Scoring a Future technology,

        TURN 3 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)

Aaron draws Samantha Parrington and Adamantium Claws

    BUILD PHASE

Josh sets a resource and recruits Invisible Woman protecting Mr fantastic, and then equips her and Uatu with future technologies. He flips up New Baxter Building and activates it to draw a card, then uses its payment effect (Discarding Invisible woman) to ready it and draw again. before activating Mr fatnastic to dig out a fantasticar.

Aaron sets The "B" Team and recruits Wolverine in the hidden front row, returning Hank Pym to his hand as an additional cost and bothplayers pass to combat.

    COMBAT PHASE

Aaron activates Moonstar, returning her to his hand and rallying for 3 plot twists (revealing adamantium claws, pathetic attempt and call in a favor) placing them all in hand and attacking direct with Wolverine for 6.

Josh swings direct with Invisible Woman and Uatu for 7 total.


    RECOVERY PHASE

        TURN 4 (Aaron Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)

Aaron draws Samantha Parrington and BPRD Signal Device.

    BUILD PHASE

Aaron sets Call in a Favor and recruits Samantha Parrington in his visible support row. He then activates her backup ability targeting Wolverine, equips wolverine with BPRD, and forms wolverine in the support row hidden area before passing.

Josh sets and flips up 4 freedoms Plaza and then plays a mobilize from his row (discarding Mr. Fantastic) to search out Thing, Idol o millions. he follows up recruiting Human Torch, sparky, and activates mr Fantastic, landing a Flamethrower and recruiting it on Mr. Fantastic.
Then Josh activates New baxter and draws a card, discarding Thing to ready new baxter and draw again

    COMBAT PHASE

Aaron takes a deep breath and plays both rowed megablasts on wolverine, both adamantium claws on him and Wolverine swings direct with 22 ATK. Samantha's effect triggers and wolverine readies. Aaron swings again. PLaying the B team fro his row, (discarding samantha parrington) to fetch and power-up Wolverine before flipping up Call in a favor (discarding Hank Pym) to fetch another wolverine and powers up twice. Josh decides not to search from Call in a favor.

After being slammed to -2 endurance Josh activates Uatu's and Invisible woman's future techs for 6 burn, and flips up Thinking outside the Box before activating sparky to burn for 4 more. he then plays Cosmic radiation from his hand and burns for another 10 with the three while Mr fantastic uses his flamethrower to burn Aaron for 5. Aaron decides to PA the flamethrower to negate it.
Josh then plays a second cosmic radiation burning Aaron for another 10. and finally plays one last cosmic rad 6 more as Aaron plays the other PA to negate Human Torch's last activation.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    Wolverine Direct -> 7    Fantastic Fun -> -2

Thoughts:

Josh - if it wasn't for those two PA's I would have tied tings up at -2! So close! although, realistically though if not for those PA's it probably would have been at least another pump.

Aaron - I wasn't expecting 3 frikkin cosmic rads. But the killer was Uatu on 1 before I could even build. That is insane for a combo deck to have that kind of information. He was counting my pumps planning into the all-in turn better than I was.
