Mark wins the flip and elects to take evens.

Mulligan

        TURN 1 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE

(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Josh sets a resource and recruits Boris before passing.

Mark sets  resource and recruits SHIELD agents dealing 2 to Josh and passes.

    COMBAT PHASE

Both players pass.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    SHIELD Burn -> 50    Crisis Doom -> 48




        TURN 2 (Mark Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE

(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Mark sets a resource and recruits 2 SHIELD agents all in his support row, burning Josh for 4 and passes.

Josh sets a resource and recruits San in his hidden front row. San's effect resolves and Josh fetches latveria and places it on the top of his deck before passing.

    COMBAT PHASE

Mark passes combat.

Josh sends San into a SHIELD agent for an easy stun.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Mark recovers SHIELD agent.

        TURN 3 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE


Josh sets and flips up Latveria. And PLays Enemy of my Enemy (discrding Wonder Woman) to search out Dr. Doom, richard's rival recruiting it into his visible area protected by Boris. Doom's effect triggers fetching Crisis on Infinite earths and placing it on the top of his deck. Josh passes.

Mark sets a resource and recruits Speedball,activating it to deal 3 damage to both players. he then flips up SHIELD Helicarrier, returning Speedball and 2 SHIELD agents to his hand. He recruits 2 SHIELD agents burning Josh for 4 and then substitutes Speedball removing one of them from play and activating for 3 more damage to both players.

    COMBAT PHASE

Josh plays Reign of Terror from his hand, targetting the three characters, and Mark Chains Torture Chamber, activating it to KO a SHIELD agent to deal 2 damage and plays Origin Story from his hand to spin another SHIELD agent back to his hand, searching out a second one.
Finally the Reign resolves and speedball returns to Mark's hand.

Josh then attacks direct with San, followed by Boris and finally Doom.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    SHIELD Burn -> 35    Crisis Doom -> 34




        TURN 4 (Mark Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE

(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

mark sets a resource and recruits Speedball, activating it to deal 3 to Josh and then recruits 3 SHIELD agents burning Josh for 6 forming Speedball in the front row with 3 ready agents in the support row.

Josh sets a resource... and activates Boris, shuffling him into his deck and searching out Mobilize. he then flips Up crisis on Infinite Erth's and Plays the fresh Mobilize (discarding Meltdown) to search out Dr. Doom diabolic genius.

Josh recruits the genius protecting his 3 drop doom, his effect flipping Down Crisis before he passes.

    COMBAT PHASE

Mark declares all three SHIELD agents into Doom. Responding Josh plays Reign of Terror on speedball and two shield agents. mark chains, flipping up evil Lair, exhausting an agent and evillair to burn Josh for 3 as the characters return to his hand.

Mark passes.

Josh then swings His 4 drop over the SHIELD agent for a stun before senting san and minidoom direct to follow.

    RECOVERY PHASE

Mark recovers SHIELD agents.

    SHIELD Burn -> 22    Crisis Doom -> 22




        TURN 5 (Josh Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE


Josh sets a resource and recruits Rictor in his front row, forming richard's rival behind and moving 4 drop doom to the unprotected support row and passes.

Mark sets a resource and recruits Speedball, activating him to burn for 3, then playing an origin Story from his row, he spins it back to his hand fetching another Speedball. recruiting speedball again and burning for 3 and following up with 3 SHIELD agents for 6 more burn. Mark then reveals Speedball and Substitutes it into play, KOing the existing one to uniqueness and removing a SHIELD agent from play to activate for 3 more before passing.

    COMBAT PHASE

Josh sends Richards rival into the middle SHIELD agent, Mark exhausts it to Evil Lair for 3 and reinforces with an adjacent agent. Mark then Activates Torture Chamber KOing Speedball for 2 burn. and flips up a second Evil Lair KOing the first to uniqueness to exhaust his final agent for 3 damage.

Josh sends San into an agent and the sends Rictor over the other and Doom 4 sings face.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    SHIELD Burn -> 7    Crisis Doom -> -1


SHIELD Burn wins!


Thoughts:

Josh - I was hoping to see Wolverine so that i could control it easier, but not too much I can do against the death by a thousand cuts.


Mark - I play dudes, they hurt you. Don't put them back in my hand, man.
