Josh sets a resource and recruits Deadshot, dead aim hidden.
Js sets a resource and recruits Night Thrasher in his visible front row (discarding BPRD signal device) to fetch Underground Movement and he passes.
COMBAT PHASE
Josh swings Deadshot into Night Thrasher for a mutual stun and Boris swings direct like a BOSS.
Both players pass.
RECOVERY PHASE
Josh recovers Deadshot.
JS recovers Night Thrasher.

TURN 3 (JS Initiative)
DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)
BUILD PHASE
JS sets a resource and recruits Radioactive Man equipping it with a BPRD Signal Device and pays 1 endurance to prevent him being targeted by opposing effects. he then plays a rowed Speedball is dead Stunning rad Man pending an auto recovery at the start of the recovery phase with 2 +1/+1 counters. JS passes.
Josh sets and flips Underground Movement and recruits Dr. Doom, richard's rival in his visible support row (search his deck and placing Bad press on the top of his deck) Then he plays a rowed enemy of my Enemy (Discarding Black Manta) and chains Doom's effect, KOing deadshot, to replace the Enemy of my Enemy. before enemy resolves, fetching Sage, xavier's secret weapon.
Then josh flips up Bad Press. And exhausts Dr. Doom to return Deadshot to his hidden area.
COMBAT PHASE
JS sends Night Thrasher into Boris. And Josh lets Boris Stun. JS passes.
Josh passes.
RECOVERY PHASE
Rad Man autorecovers, gaining two +1/+1 counters.
Josh recovers Boris.
Rad Man -> 41 Just ONE -> 45
TURN 4 (Josh Initiative)
DRAW PHASEJs chains BPRD to the draw, paying 1 endurance.
(Both Players draw 2 cards)
BUILD PHASE
Josh activates Boris, searching out Bad Press and shuffling Boris into his deck. Unsurprisingly, he sets and flips Bad Press and then recruits Sage, protecting Dr. Doom before passing.
Rad Man gains a counter.
JS sets a resource and recruits Iron Man, mighty avenger and equips it with an extremis Upgrade before forming Night Thrasher protecting it and rad Man adjacent to it.
JS passes.
COMBAT PHASE
Josh goes into the tank and eventually declares deadshot into Night Thrasher forcing a mutual stun. (triggering iron Man's recovery effect)
Then Doom and Sage team swing iron Man. Once legal shifting Sage into the hidden area. iron man stuns back Sage, and JS chooses to allow Iron Man to stun rather than KO extremis Upgrade.
Josh passes.
JS, unafraid of a reign this turn swings over Doom with rad Man for an easy stun and passes.
RECOVERY PHASE
Night Thrasher auto recovers and gains a +1/+1 counter.
Josh recovers Sage, KOing Dr. Doom and deadshot.
JS recovers Iron Man.
Rad Man -> 33 Just ONE -> 33
TURN 5 (JS Initiative)
DRAW PHASE
JS chains BPRD to the draw, paying 1 endurance.
(Both Players draw 2 cards)
BUILD PHASE
Rad MAn gains a +1/+1 counter.
Js sets a resource and recruits Captain Atom in the support row Adjacent to Iron Man. and passes.
Josh sets and flips Soul World, activating it and paying 4 endurance to grab Black manta. Josh recruits it in his visible support row, exhausts it to bring deadshot into his hidden area and passes.
COMBAT PHASE
JS activates Captain atom, Stunning Sage and itself (triggering iron Man's auto-recovery) And then sends Rad Man into Black Manta. Josh moves Black manta hidden and pays 3 to place dr. Doom into his hand but still suffers a mutual stun.
night Thrasher swings direct. followed by Iron Man. Then Night Thrasher Evades triggering Iron Man's effect.
Both Players pass to recovery.
RECOVERY PHASE
Captain atom, Night Thrasher and Rad Man auto-recover and each gain a counter.
Josh recovers Black Manta, KOing Sage.
Rad Man -> 13 Just ONE -> 18
TURN 6 (Josh Initiative)
DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)
BUILD PHASE
Josh sets a resource and recruits Human Torch and passes.
Ras Man gins a counter.
Js sets a resource and is finally able to flip up Underground Movement, followed by a rowed Mobilize (discarding Underground Movement) to search out Rad Man.
Js then recruits Mr Sinister protecting Iron Man, and recruits Green Goblin in his hidden front row.
COMBAT PHASE
Mr. sinister triggers.
Josh thinks for a moment and then swings Human Torch into Captain atom, JS' underground movement triggers moving it to is hidden area where Green Goblin reinforces it. Black Manta and deadshot team swing into mr. Sinister for a mutual stun of 5s before passing.
Js sends rad Man into Human Torch, Discarding another rad Man to power-up to a 12/12 for a mutual stun before Night Thrasher swings direct, followed by iron Man
RECOVERY PHASE
mr. Sinister and Rad man auto-recover and gain a counter.
Rad Man -> 0 Just ONE -> -5
Rad Man wins!
Thoughts:
Josh - Plot twist hate into a plot twist hate deck is pretty brutal. Who knew?
JS - by turn 3 I had my full curve to 5 and hadn't seen much else. Turns out, that's a pretty good thing in this matchup.
