JS wins the flip and elects to take odd initiatives.

Both players keep.

        TURN 1 (JS Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

Lee plays surprise attack form his hand, dealing 5 damage to JS.

    BUILD PHASE

Js sets a resource and recruits Spider-Man, the spider in his hidden support row.

Lee sets a resource and recruits Black Panther, vibranium vogue hidden.

    COMBAT PHASE

JS sends spider-man direct.

Black Panther swings direct.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    Highest Voltage -> 48    Neutron Spider-Stall -> 43




        TURN 2 (Lee Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Lee sets a resource and recruits Quicksilver in his support row and passes.

JS sets and flip up Empire State University, and activates it, exhausting the spider to gain a card. Then he shifts caliban with 2 shift counters and passes.

    COMBAT PHASE

Lee Flips and Megablast targetting Quicksilver and activates Black Panther to equip Mjolnir onto Quicksilver and declares an attack with Quicksilver. Once legal he deals 2 damag to JS from being exhausted and swings direct for 7 more. Lee then flips up The Great Refuge, searching for a quicksilver and placing it into his hand. He then uses Quicksilver's effect to ready it, and swings again for 7 direct, (burning JS for 2 endurance when it becomes exhausted)

Both players pass.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    Highest Voltage -> 48    Neutron Spider-Stall -> 25




        TURN 3 (JS Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

JS sets and flips Underground Movement before recruiting Sage, xavier's secret weapon in his visible front row and passing.

Lee sets a resource and recruits Lockjaw (discarding the great refuge)

to search for Human Torch, Sparky, before activating Black Panther and equipping Advanced hardware onto Thor/Quicksilver and passing.

    COMBAT PHASE

JS declares the spider into Quicksilver and powers it up with another spider in hand. lee responds activating Quicksilver's advanced hardware to burn for 3 and then burn for 2 more from Mjolnir before passing on a mutual stun.

JS then declares Sage direct for 5 and passes.

Lee also passes.

    RECOVERY PHASE

JS recovers The Spider.

Lee recovers Quicksilver.

    Highest Voltage -> 41    Neutron Spider-Stall -> 19




        TURN 4 (Lee Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE

JS chains ESU to the draw exhausting The Spider to net a card.
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Lee sets a resource and recruits HUman Torch, sparky protecting Quicksilver, and shifts out vision for 1 before remembering caliban prevents the draw.
"Nothing better to do with the resource point anyhow" Lee passes.

JS sets and flips Mobilize from his row (discarding ESU) to search out Spider-man, the spider. he then pays 1 resource to shift it with a shift counter. He then reveals Scarlet Spider, and recruits Spider-Man, ultimates behind sage. It enters play with 2 web-counters. Then he shifts into play Spider-man, the spider with 2 web counters into his hidden area as well, removing them to exhaust Quicksilver.
Lee chains Advanced Hardware's effect burning for 3 and Mjolnir triggers dealing 2 more.

Js follows up with Gift Wrapped from his hand, exhausting Spider-man, ultimates to exhaust Human Torch.

lee chains a rowed Crackshot targetting Quicksilver and plays a rowed Die for Darkseid KOing Lockjaw to deal 4 damage to JS and chains Human Torch's effect for 4 more.

both players pass to combat.

    COMBAT PHASE

Lee uses Quicksilver's effect to ready him and declares an attack on Sage. JS responds removing 2 web counters to exhaust Quicksilver and he once again chains Advanced Hardware's effect burning for 5 total.

Both players pass.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    Highest Voltage -> 41    Neutron Spider-Stall -> 1




        TURN 5 (JS Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE

JS chains ESU to the draw to net a card
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

JS sets a resource and recruits Mr. Sinister before passing.

Lee sets and flips up Surprise Attack for 3 damage. And activates Human Torch and Quicksilver for 10 total damage before using quicksilver's effect to activate him and burn for 5 more.

They both pass to combat.

    COMBAT PHASE
Mr. Sinister triggers.

Js swings his two hidden spiders into Human torch for a trade.
Then he sends Mr. Sinister into Quicksilver. Lee powers up twice to staunch some breakthrough and passes on a 1-way stun.
Then sage and Ultimate Spidey swing direct.

Both players pass.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    Highest Voltage -> 23    Neutron Spider-Stall -> -18


Highest Voltage wins and Netron stall is Eliminated!


Thoughts:

JS - That Caliban really did nothing. I regret prioritizing it quite a bit now.

Lee - Jeepers H Christmas this deck is fast. A nut draw is easily a win on turn 3.
