Lee sets a resource and recruits Invisble Woman. She enters play with an invisibility counter. Lee passes.
Mark sets a resource and recruits jarvis and passes.
COMBAT PHASE
Mark sends Jarvis into Invisible Woman. Lee decides not to use her counter and they both stun.
Lee passes.
RECOVERY PHASE
Lee recovers Invisible Woman.
Mark recovers jarvis.

BUILD PHASE
Mark sets a resource and recruits Brainiac in his hidden area.
Lee sets a resource and recruits Proteus.
COMBAT PHASE
Lee passes.
Mark sends Jarvis into Invisible Woman. Lee uses her invisibility counter to remove him from the attack.
Mark then sends brainiac into invisible woman for a stun.
RECOVERY PHASE
Lee recovers Invisible woman.

TURN 3 (Mark Initiative)
DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)
BUILD PHASE
Lee sets a resource and shifts out Mimic, earth 12 with a shift counter. he then shifts Vision with a shift counter and KO's it to draw 2 cards. He then plays a rowed We Can Rebuild Him (Discarding Mimic) to shift vision again and KO it to draw 2 cards. he plays another We can Rebuild from his hand (discarding Franklin richards) to shift and KO again.
Finally Lee spends his last resource to place a second shift counter on Mimic before passing.
Mark sets a resource and plays enemy of my Enemy from his hand (discarding Iron Man) to search out Atomic Skull, joe martin. recruiting it in his support row, protected by jarvis, and flips up Dirty tricks and Executive Privelege and uses Brainiac's backup effect to reduce Proteus' DEF by 2.
COMBAT PHASE
Mark reveals Doomsday in his hand for Atomic Skull's effect to stun Invisible Woman And then attacks Proteus with Atomic Skull. Lee chains Proteus' effect to place a shift counter on Mimic before passing for a mutual stun.
RECOVERY PHASE
Lee recovers Protes KOing Invisible Woman.
Mark recovers Atomic Skull.

TURN 4 (Lee Initiative)
DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)
BUILD PHASE
Lee sets a resource and activates Proteus, placing a fourth shift counter on Mimic, and recruits Haywire for 0. he then flips up a rowed Intergalactic Summit, crossing over exiles and squad Supreme until the end of the turn and drawing a card.
Then Lee shifts Mimic into play and spends a resource to shift vision before KOing it to draw 2. He then uses Mimic's effect,(Discarding Franklin Richards) to gain the printed powers of Franklin richards and Activates to reduce the recruit cost of Invisible Woman and Mr fantastic by 1.
- Mark decides to go to the store, and asks if anyone wants anything.
Lee then recruits an invisible woman for 0 and flips up a second rowed Intergalactic Summit to crossover Fantastic Four and Exiles before playing Enemy of my enemy from his hand (discarding Proteus) to search for Duela Dent. placing her into his hand.
he then recruits Duels from his hand follwed up by recruiting Sage, earth 616 to draw 4 cards.
he flips up a rowed Rigged Elections and exhausts Duela for a ballot counter and plays We Can Rebuild Him (discarding a Rigged elections) shift vision to KO and draw 2 more.
Lee then plays A Clash of Worlds from his hand to make Invisible Woman non-unique, and recruits an invisible woman for 0. He also recruits Quicksilver, house of M for 0. And then plays Beak Saves to shift Sage with 1 shift counter. and plays cosmic radiation to ready all his dulled characters except Duela. Continuing, he activates proteus to place a shift counter on Sage and shifts her into play, this time, drawing 6 cards.
Lee plays We can Rebuild him from his hand (discarding vision) to shift vision and ko to draw 2. and plays enemy of my enemy (discarding franklin richards) to search out Haywire. he plays a Clash to make Haywire non-unique. And then recruits two additional invisible women and a second haywire. Before lamenting his luck of the draw and playing another Cosmic radiation from his hand, somehow still unable to team-up Arkham, he readies proteus and plays Beak saves from his hand to shift out Sage and then activates Proteus to shift Sage back in, drawing 9 cards.
"FINALLY!"
Lee plays Intergalactic Summit from his hand to crossover Arkham and Exiles, and recruits an invisible woman before exhausting everything except Quicksilver for ballot counters (10)
he follows up with another cosmic radiation from his hand readying everyone, and plays beak Saves on Sage jsut to immediately use Proteus to shift her right back in to play, drawing 10 cards.
- Mark returns from the store and aplogizes at how long it took him, laughing that Lee is still playing through his turn.
Lee plays intergalactic Summit from his hand to crossover exiles and Brotherhood, and recruits Invisible Woman and a Haywire. He plays Enemy of my Enemy from his hand (discarding Mimic) to search his 3 card deck, and laughs as he finds a Haywire. Comfirming that the final Cosmic radiation somehow remained in his 2 card deck. Unwilling to think thoungs through any more than necessary he exhausts everything for Ballot counters. leaving it at... 24.
"Well... this is awkward."
Lee passes.
Mark sets and flips up Dimensional Deal, teaming-up Avengers and Revenge Squad and uses Executive Privelege's effect (discarding brainiac) revealing Death of Superman and Terra man, placing them both into his hand. He then recruits Terra-man and forms him in front of Atomic Skull, adjacent to the front-row Jarvis.
Both players pass to combat.
COMBAT PHASE
Lee passes combat.
Mark's Terra man declares into Mimic, and still wielding Franklin's effect, it bounces back to Lee's hand. Then Terra-Man Swings into Duela for an easy stun. Atomic Skull reveals Doomsday to stun proteus, but cannot find a good attack target since everything is behind an invisible woman with either a counter or a large behind. He declates into an invisible woman with a counter and expectedly is is negated.Then Brainic swings into the Invisible woman that used her counter for a stun.
RECOVERY PHASE
At the start of the recovery phase, mark plays Death of Superman from his hand, exhausting jarvis to target Duela.
"what was that other card still in your deck anyway?"
Lee chains beak Saves the day, shifting Duela with 0 counters.
"Not the last beak if that's what you were wondering."
Lee recovers proteus, KOing an Invisible Woman.

TURN 5 (Mark Initiative)
DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)
BUILD PHASE
Mark sets a resource and immediately flips up Omnipotence. Lee has no response.
Mark Calls Rigged Elections.
BOOM.
Lee requests a concession.
We remind lee that the rules of the event are to play things out NO MATTER WHAT and apologize as us canadians do sometimes. He shrugs, sets a resource and recruits Mimic. Now Unable to pay 3 resources for the Quicksilver he played last turn, He immediately loses the game.

Thoughts:
Lee - Mark had already flashed me the Mobilize and the War machine armor. I was going to exit turn 5 with no deck, no resource row and no team-ups with only 3 characters in play with an attack above zero. Yer damn right I'll take the quicksilver loss, rather than play 2 to 3 more turns.
Mark - Not much to say here. If you run Omnis and you win the flip just pick Odds and pray to RNGesus. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go sacrifice a goat.
