Steph sets a resource and shifts Vision, triggering its effect to draw 2 cards before passing.
Josh sets a resource and recruits moonstar
COMBAT PHASE
Josh activates Moonstar (rallying Pathetic Attempt, Reconstruction Program and Flame Trap into his hand) and both players pass to recovery.
RECOVERY PHASE
Quickfate -> 50 Captain Italy -> 50
TURN 2 (Josh Initiative)
DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)
BUILD PHASE
Josh sets a resource and recruits Moonstar, then passes.
Steph sets a and flips Dr. Fate's Tower (discarding quicksilver) to fetch Helm of Nabu, Then flips up Soulworld before recruiting Quicksilver.
Steph then equips Quicksilver with Amulet of Nabu and then equips the helm drawing two cards (and discarding vision and an amulet) She then activates Soul world, paying 4 endurance to return Vision to her hand.
COMBAT PHASE
Josh activates Moonstar, (rallying 2 Bodyslides and failing on a captain) before passing initiative.
Steph declares an attack with Quicksilver, playing flying kick and 2x Kill or be Killed from her hand for a fast 15 direct before using Quicksilvers effect to ready and swing for another 15.
RECOVERY PHASE
Quickfate -> 46 Captain Italy -> 20
TURN 3 (Steph Initiative)
DRAW PHASE(Both Players draw 2 cards)
BUILD PHASE
Steph sets and flips the great refuge, searching her deck for Human Torch and shifts vision for 1, using its effect to draw 2 cards. She plays helm of Nabu, KOing the first one to uniqueness drawing 2 cards (discarding two Lockjaws)
She then activates Soul world, paying 4 to grab vision again, shifting him and popping him to draw two more cards.
Then finally, she equips Cloak of Nabu to Quicksilver, before finally passing.
Josh sets a resource and recruits Dr. Doom, richards rival, searching for Lust for power and placing it on the top of his deck.
COMBAT PHASE
Steph declares Quicksilver into Doom, Josh looks through his hand and shrugs before passing.
Once legal, Steph plays two crackshots, a megablast, and a flying kick for an uncontested stun before readying Quicksilver and swinging again direct.
RECOVERY PHASE
Quickfate -> 42 Captain Italy -> -19

Thoughts:
Josh - If only I could have drawn a second doom, I was sitting on a common bond and a recon program which would have bought me turn 4 at 1 endurance, and a flame trap play. with a pathetic attempt for the Human Torch she was camping. That at least would have felt like i played. A super unlucky matchup for Captain Italy. But I really think that 1 extra doom in hand would have changed the entire game.
Steph - I was feeling good until after Josh lost he flashed me the PA and flametrap and I realized if he had stunned Quicksilver back he would likely have locked me out of turn 4 and taken it to 5. That is HUGE, he might have actually won. This game was super close! Way closer than the score shows.
