Match 32: Anti-Matter VS COMBEX

Aaron wins the flip and calls evens.

Both Players Keep

        TURN 1 (JS Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

JS sets a resource and passes.

Aaron sets a resource and recruits Chomin in his hidden support row.

    COMBAT PHASE

JS passes.

Aaron swings direct for 2.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    Anti-Matter -> 50    COMBEX -> 48





        TURN 2 (Aaron Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE
(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

Aaron sets a resource and recruits two AGL's hidden and passes.

JS sets a resource and recruits Black Thorn in his hidden area (revealing Ahmed for loyalty) and passes.

    COMBAT PHASE

Chomin and both AGL's swing direct. Chomin then uses his effect to stun an AGL dealing 1 damage to JS/

JS swings direct for 3 with Black Thorn.

    RECOVERY PHASE

AGL KO's itself. Aaron recovers the other AGL.

    Anti-Matter -> 47    COMBEX -> 37




        TURN 3 (JS Initiative)

    DRAW PHASE

(Both Players draw 2 cards)

    BUILD PHASE

JS sets a resource and Recruits Ahmed in the visible area.

Aaron sets a resource and recruits Slipstream in the hidden front row.

    COMBAT PHASE

JS sends Black Thorn direct for 3 and sends Ahmed direct for 6.

Aaron declares slipstream into Ahmed. Once legal, playing Thunderous Onslaoght from his row, moving slipstream to the visible support row where Aaron pays 3 endurance to make slipstream a readied attacker. He follows up with Megablast played from his hand, and flips up crackshot and Matter COnvergence to push him back into the hidden area.

JS powers up ahmed twice then passes for the one-sided stun. Slipstream swings again direct for 15, AGL then swings direct with a power-up and a thunderous onslaught from Aaron's hand pushing the AGL visible. Finally Chomin swings direct for 2 and uses his ability to stun Slipstream and deal 3 damage to JS before passing.

    RECOVERY PHASE

    Anti-Matter -> 35    COMBEX -> -2


Anti-Matter wins!



Thoughts:

JS - it HAD to be on 3, I was going infinite on 4. but this is what happens in golden age.

Aaron - When he put Ahmed visible i didn't think i'd have enough to push through.
